Geometry and Topology Seminar——On stability type theorems for positive scalar curvature obstruction.

Abstract：In this talk, I will introduce basic geometric tools for investigating manifolds with positive scalar curvature (PSC), and explain how these tools can be applied to rule out PSC metric on "large" manifolds. Then, I will discuss several stability properties of PSC obstruction. Our focus will primarily be on the topological aspects of scalar curvature, and use geometric conclusions as black box.
